Canine Rescue

It?s hard to believe we have had this magnificent boy for so long, and this was his first adoption appointment! With all that charm, it?s taken Ollie awhile to find his home, but as they say, it?s all in the journey. Ollie required a family with the patience, experience, and time to work through his "puppy like" tendencies and mischievous nature! Not only did the family think they were up for the challenge, they invited it! Before the appointment, Paul could hardly contain his excitement to meet Ollie, and that enthusiasm only increased upon Jennifer and Ollie?s arrival. Jennifer shared, "The family was eager to met him when we arrived. Erica, the 15 year old daughter, was a member of the process which was so great. The crate is setup in her room as well. :-) They seem to really spoil their dogs, as the dogs have access to furniture, toys and ah.. hem... plenty of treats. :-). They thought Ollie was beautiful. Oh, and they proudly brought out a picture frame with 5 pictures dedicated to their basset that passed ? Jennifer and at did a great job on this appointment, addressing concerns about over they admitted doing since the passing of their last dog. They are dedicated to cutting back on the treats, and incorporating more healthy choices for such as baby carrots. They are not over feeding her at meal times, it?s the extra treats that are affecting her waistline! They understand how important it is for her to slim down, (as their older dog is), and hold a lot of guilt for allowing her to gain a little.
